Hi, I don't think you're doing something, nor do I think it's a bug, I guess it's the way it's supposed to be (at least I have the same "problem"). In general I find it's quite inconvenient to use the collections browser, because if you search for pictures by camera or lens the selected value keeps being selected while all other entries disappear. So you have to go back and delete the current selection manually, which makes browsing quite slow and awkward. Could this be done in another way, so that the clicked value is being marked while all others keep being visible ?
