I didn't try it yet, but you say it didn't work out that well for the luts approximation, which is exactly my intended use case. I saw that there is also a branch (film-emulation) including a clut iop, is there a reason that it didn't get included in darktable? Is there some "deeper" reason that such a module doesn't fit darktables pipeline or is it just missing interest in the development of such a module?
