Hi.
I know this issue has been brought to table before but i would like to
bring it here again.
I love DT automatic exposure. Not the automatic mode (well i love it too
but that's another story) but the eye dropper one. I find that, in about
90-95% of cases it gives me a correct (at least to my eyes) exposure. Even
if i have to tweak some of them it's usually minor changes and only in a
few of them since DT does an excellent job to begin with.
The problem is... i can't copy this setting for other pictures. If i copy
and paste this modules between pictures the calculated values are copied,
not the setting.
I know the automatic mode will not copy values and will calculate values
for each picture but it will try to even out exposure for all of them, for
time lapses. This will work as long as the pictures are similar but not if
there are different kinds of pictures.
A really neat feature would be to be able to copy only the auto setting and
let DT calculate the right exposure for each picture, much like the denoise
profiled and lens correction modules, AFAIK.
Is this in the future plans for DT or is there an alternate way to achieve
this goal?
