Last Sunday's import involved only minor trauma, the worst being Neil
Booth's rearrangement of option processing that was good because it
eliminated some redundancy between C and C++ options, but bad for
us because of all our local options, plus it broke PFE because of subtle
startup ordering issues.

Anyway, at this point, both ppc and x86 bootstrap OK, Apple-style
builds work for ppc but not fat, the testsuite seems to be working
about as well as it ever has, PFE and ObjC++ are functional, while
AltiVec and -mdynamic-no-pic are broken. So I'd say the trunk is
safe for general experimentation, but not for building all the rest
of the system.
