The log still starts with "ln failed: -1". Both for my build (MoDisco nightly) and the XSL and JGit builds you have started. My build depends on the numeric build folder being symlinked, since I read the log from there (at the end of the Hudson bash script) to determine if the build succeeded. At the end of the log, you can see: cat: /opt/users/hudsonbuild/.hudson/jobs/cbi-modisco-nightly/builds/213/log: No such file or directory Which is the reason the build failed. And the promote script needs the (symlinked) lastSuccessful folder too. The build didn't succeed, so I cannot say for sure whether this symlink would have worked or not, but I have a feeling not, since the first one failed.
