This particular issue is about *size*, that seemed to be needless, from the background i've showed. A key feature for klibc. Running stat() on and on is silly in general sense. Of course it runs quickly, who counts preparation? It's like interactive dash: no history, re-typing commands from scratch, but they run pretty fast! (Userspace, i.e. in shell, line and buffer editor based on TERM=linux features is in progress. To have on-demand feature, not useless most of the time binary bloat. But who cares? 500K busybox and voila!) Arh, whatever. ____ - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe dash" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
