Don't know if this has to do with the patch... but...
With this patch, beagle runs just fine with one exception. The FileSystem crawler doesn't seam to work. Does that work for you?
It works just fine. Are you using 0.0.8 or 0.0.8.1? I'm using the one from CVS that has been tagged BEAGLE_0_0_8_1 (AFAIR)
