Apparently at least *~ is excluded, but this gives me an other idea. How about implementing some kind of file grouping. files that can be easily identified as derivates of each other, like *~ for backups, could be grouped with each other. This would allow us to index Version control systems. Think about it, searching past revisions of a file or searching graphics generated from a certain source. This might be hard to implement, detecting derivates might be hard for some files (and easy for others) and the grouping needs thinking. Even still, it might be worth while. - - S -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEOVz5qbb3MLg9dhwRAsT0AJ4tl5ts8eTEBfmQdlVfH95q2o0XfACfQzNm SEthIkD6gyQuE8Ji7mL5miY= =DvXG -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Dashboard-hackers mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dashboard-hackers
