I'm not ready to concede that, at least not without knowing why it's
true. :)
Try deleting your ~/.beagle and any /tmp/beagle-* directories, and then
run beagled from the command-line:
beagled --fg --debug
Then, send me all the log files in ~/.beagle/Log.
