Well, the emails were sent to me by 'smith', and are not attachments. When I do 'beagle-query mailfrom:smith --verbose' all the results have 'smith' in the 'fixme:from =' field, as expected. None of those show up if I simply do 'beagle-query smith'. Thanks for your help.
