Hi all,
Just a quick update. Yesterday, I moved our music Filters to use
TagLib-sharp
(http://www.taglibsharp.com/Main_Page) (previously entagged-sharp was used;
as of a few months earlier, no one was maintaining entagged-sharp).
TagLib-sharp recently got lots of performance improvement and can handle lots
of media types, so I am pretty sure beagle will benefit a lot from
TagLib-shap. Also, TagLib-sharp allows beagle to extract lot more metadata
like composer, disc number etc.
If you have lots of music data, esp of various formats, please give it
a test
sometime.
