The usual crashes dont (aka errors and exceptions). But the ones that crashes in the C library sometimes brings the whole process to a halt. It is usually hard to recover from crashes in the native library :-(. >> You might want to check BeagleExceptions log to see if any >> other information is available there. > > $ cat ~/.beagle/Log/current-BeagleExceptions > 20081113 18:09:48.2424 07983 Beagle WARN EX: Unable to open addressbook > file:///home/brian/.evolution/addressbook/local/system: > 20081113 18:09:48.2424 07983 Beagle WARN EX: GLib.GException: file e-book.c: > line 3781: assertion `source && E_IS_SOURCE (source)' failed > 20081113 18:09:48.2424 07983 Beagle WARN EX: at Evolution.Book..ctor > (Evolution.Source source) [0x00000] > 20081113 18:09:48.2424 07983 Beagle WARN EX: at > Beagle.Daemon.EvolutionDataServerQueryable.BookContainer.OpenClient () > [0x00000] I have to check something ... I am not sure if this error can cause the behaviour you are seeing. it is a problem in the native library ... so it could very well be the reason. - dBera -- ----------------------------------------------------- Debajyoti Bera @ http://dtecht.blogspot.com beagle / KDE fan Mandriva / Inspiron-1100 user _______________________________________________ Dashboard-hackers mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dashboard-hackers
