Firstly, there is a list for database-related Delphi questions, and
you'll notice I've sent this message to that list instead. Nobody who
does not subscribe to the database list will be interested in this
topic.
Secondly, your question could be phrased a lot more informatively. How
exactly does one connect to a "shared Access database on an Informix
server"? Access, and I'm assuming you mean MS Access, and Informix (SE?
Dynamic Server? Personal Edition? Unix or NT?) are two different
database products. Are you trying to connect to an MS Access database
using an Informix driver? Then you won't have much success. I probably
don't understand the problem, because you really haven't explained how
you're trying to connect (eg. using Database Desktop?), but my first
suggestion would be to use the (ODBC) "Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)"
when trying to connect to an Access database.
