Well, I rang up Rational in Australia, and according to them, that
horrid rumour is true: Rational are NOT planning to come out with a
version that supports Delphi 5. Time to start protesting (again).
That, for us, will be an even stronger reason to delay moving to Delphi
5 than the D5 upgrade price. We've invested a lot of time in SQA Robot,
and it does the job extremely well.

To answer Kerry's questions, yes, it copes with all properties of
components, like position, caption and that, and not when you change the
component class name. Yes, you just stick in in "record" mode and go
for it. We've only been using it from February, and it's only really
proved itself in the last few months - you've got to invest the time to
build all the scripts before it starts paying dividends.

What, you mean next October? :) I don't know - we probably need
managers to go to that sort of meeting, not developers. I'm off to
Sydney in under three weeks, anyway. I'll probably stay on this list
though (shhh, don't tell on me ;)
