Hi All,
I've got a problem with an Access db master-detail form. When I use cached
updates, and add data to a detail table in a typical master-detail
arrangement, I get strange 'at end of table' errors. Turn cached updates
off, and the problem goes away.
I've tried moving to first/last records, refreshing the database etc, and
in some ways I can then get the error to go away, but then Applyupdates
crashes big-time with 'General SQL error'. This is also odd, because I'm
only using TTables (and BDE).
I've applied the D5 update, and am now using the latest BDE (5.1.1.1), but
the problem does not even flinch. I've even applied the "Master-Detail
relationships with data-aware controls" workaround (Article ID: 20566 of
Borland Community).
Going back to D3, I find the problem is there too. I suppose the next thing
to try is ADO instead of BDE, but I'll have to buy that.
Anyone else had this problem?
