First up, get it on CD. Its worth it, especially as you can run it on linux.
Remember, Oracle is NOT a "personal" DB - that would be interbase, MySQL,
MSDE etc.
Second, Delphi comes with BDE drivers that work with 8i, AFAIK, and there
are also direct-to-oracle libs like IBX, IBO etc out there somewhere. I
think MS ship an ADO driver for it, 'cos no one else really cares much about
ADO.
