Hi guys, still trying to get this MSDE thing working. It's annoying that
the thing didn't install any documentation :(
When I connect into the server using Query Analyser, it sits there for a few
moments as thou its working, then comes up with the following error:
"Unable to connect to server \\w9-nzt938.
Server: Msg 6, Level 16, State 1
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Named Pipes] Specified SQL server not
found."
On the machine with MSDE on it, named pipes don't appear to be available, is
this something from NT? (MSDE is on a Win95 machine).
Also, how should I be connecting auth. wise? NT Auth or SQLServer Auth? ANd
whats the default user/pass?
