Scott Johnson posted the subject 'PATTERN PROFILER GIVING INACCURATE GROUPS AND COUNTS' ------------------- Hello.. I love the concept of the tool, but it needs to e 100% accurate or it is not useful. I am running the Pattern Profiler and receiving INVALID groupings. Only 60k rows, and only 4 columns in 1 job. Summary is mixing and giving counts for multiple patterns grouped together in mish-mash across multiple lines. example follows please: 5-3-10 shows up in 5-5-10 group and also shows up in 5-3-10 group In the grouping summary for 5-5-10 some of the middle grouping has 5-3-10 or 5-4-10 or 5-5-10 characters. Is this a known bug? have not seen it, but if true, then this makes the tool unusable??? I will look for your kind reply.
