When you indeed want to create a new connector we can create an issue on GitHub. I hope that is OK with you. If I understand correctly, you want to treat the input of a REST call as the input to an analysis job. That would indeed require a new Connector (DataStore in DataCleaner-speak). If you offer to create such connector, you sure are very welcome to do so! Any contribution is warmly welcomed. If you can outline the task you want to accomplish with DataCleaner, maybe we can give you alternatives or give pointers about how to best create the new connector. I am not a big magician in DataCleaner, but we will try to help when you run into problems. FYI: It might help you to know that there already are transfomers to turn JSON objects into maps happy coding!
