Hi Steve,
That sounds strange. Just to ensure that I wasn't forgetting something I tried
it myself: I took the customers table and linked it to a "Create staging table"
component, filled in a dummy table name and selected all columns. After the job
had executed I now had a new datastore called "DataCleaner-staging".
If this is not the case on your setup I suggest looking at the log file to see
if any issues are reported there. You can find it in
{user.home}/.datacleaner/log
