Hmm yes. And from what I know they broke compatibility from 0.9 to 1.0.
We currently don't have a way to easily replace the client libraries :-/ But
one way to do it is to start DataCleaner using a custom .cmd/.sh file where you
launch it with a command like this:

java -cp
hbase-client.jar;hbase-common.jar;hbase-annotations.jar;hbase-protocol.jar;datacleaner.jar
com.hi.datacleaner.Main
}}}
Or basically: For the "cp" argument first put all the HBase JAR file names and
THEN put datacleaner.jar. Adjust the filenames to match the real filenames on
your disk.
And another note on the above - on Windows the delimiter is semicolon (;) while
on Linux it is colon (:)
