Interesting, that line does this:

final LogChannelInterface log = Spoon.getInstance().getLog();

I guess there is no Spoon instance available when you're running this via
Kitchen. I'm not a Pentaho plugin expert, but I guess we need to see then how
we can find a logger somehow in a spoon/kitchen independent way.
