Arjan replied to subject 'Paraccel/Actian Matrix' ------------------- Hi JR, In which dialog did you fill in the Driver class name? There is an "Add database driver" dialog, which opens when you select the "Local JAR file(s)..." option under the "Add Database driver" button as Claudia pointed out. This dialog has a dropdown containing class names, but here you can also fill in a custom class name, like com.paraccel.Driver for example. Use the Browse button underneath the pulldown to browse to the driver's jar file and then click the Add database driver button in that dialog. The dialog then closes and you should see that the driver class is added in the overview of database drivers in the Options dialog. Now you can register a new datastore from the Datastore Management view by clicking the More database button and selecting Other database. In this dialog fill in a datastore name, do not select a database driver and fill in something like com.paraccel.Driver in the driver class name field. Then fill in your connection parameters and click the Test connections button. This should be all necessary steps to make it work. Make sure that both dialog have the same driver class name and in the first one you have browsed to the jar's location.
