Jordan posted the subject 'Hive/Impala connections won't work' ------------------- So I've tried the build in Hive Connector and added Impala JDBC 4 drive and tried that, and both return this error: Could not determine default schema name: Method not supported. There is a stack trace but I can't seem to copy/paste out of this app. Instead I took a video of the exception box, here: http://screencast.com/t/5t6X2pO2vYkZ My cluster is a MapR 5 running HiveServer and Impala Daemon, with Sentry serving for authentication.
