Amen brother! Personally, I'm also against >= in gem dependencies. The  
sound great in practice, but in the real world you end up running into  
gem dependency nightmares. Then you end up with the dreaded 'Can't  
activate <gem> x.x.x, already activated gem <y.y.y>' error, that you  
spend the entire day tracking. That's just my opinion though.
