Hey everybody, Part of my usual bi-weekly/monthly rant includes this time Hoe dependency in DataMapper gems (mainly DO adapters) and Merb
I'll like to know the usage scenario and the expected outcome of doing a gem release using Hoe for DO adapters. DataObjects or any other DM component. What I'm looking is remove that dependency and also cleanup the build of native extensions and packaging (already as part of rake-compiler project in github). I'm cross posting this with Merb list to get feedback (I hope positive one). Thanks in advance for the time ppl take to reply this message.
