The datamapper.github.com site was actually the original datamapper.org site. It was replaced with the wiki you see now because the wiki is easier to keep updated (which is true). However, it's not anywhere near as nice looking as the old site. When I get some time, I had planned to move the current datamapper.org to wiki.datamapper.org, and move datamapper.github.com back to datamapper.org. I'd then go through and make sure the content is up to date and the examples are as well written as possible. If anyone is interested in helping with this I would appreciate it, otherwise I'll work on it after the dm-core 0.10.0 release comes out.
