I would like to take a bit of time to put together a more comprehensive list, but the main book I would recommend to people wanting to learn more about DataMapper is Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture (PoEAA): http://martinfowler.com/books.html#eaa Don't let the name scare you off, it's fascinating, very readable, and based on real world patterns you might use an encounter. As you read through this it's really easy to see how Rails, ActiveRecord, DataMapper and alot of other projects were influenced by it. About 1/3 of the book is on ORM design, which makes it probably the most densely packed book you can find on the subject. -- Dan (dkubb) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DataMapper" group.
