I believe SQL server support is currently only available for JRuby. I'm not sure what the options are to connect to SQL server, but I keep hearing about FreeTDS for *nix. I also saw some talk on IRC that it might be possible on a Windows system to use ado.net. In both cases drivers would need to be written to implement the DataObjects interface, and delegate to the backend for most of the heavy lifting. It would be awesome to see full support for SQL server across MRI/ JRuby on various OSs, but I'm not aware of anyone working on it right now. If you or anyone else is interested in porting do_sqlserver to work with MRI please let Dirkjan (@dbussink), Alex (@myabc) or I know. -- Dan (dkubb) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DataMapper" group.
