I've not heard of anyone using it with JRuby, but I wonder if it's possible. Do you know anything about the JRuby Mongo drivers? I presume if the API is the same as the MRI drivers it should work with solnic's adapter above with minor tweaks. A quick search shows that there is one JRuby driver project already that aims to be compatible with the MRI drivers: http://github.com/chuckremes/jmongo I have no idea how far along it is, but it might be worth starting here. If you do look into this please let us know how it works out for you, and/or what issues you ran into.
