Hi, I'm trying to figure out a way to get DB inserts of DateTime properties to be UTC by default (I'm supporting mysql and postgress on the back end).
I can set ENV['TZ'] = 'UTC' but this has a bad effect on other parts of my application (syslog, specifically, where I want the local time).
