Hello all, As some of you know I'm slated to give a DataMapper talk at Red Dirt Ruby conference (http://reddirtrubyconf.com/).
I don't want it to be an "intro to DataMapper" talk, or even a "comparing ActiveRecord and DataMapper" talk. Instead, I'd like to identify 3-4 problems that DataMapper is uniquely well-suited for solving. For instance, I'm thinking of demonstrating how DM can make it easy to move records between two very different data stores. I'd like to get your input on what I should show. What hard problems have YOU solved with DataMapper? Why was DM the right tool for the job?
