Hello all, HasGeek is organizing a day-long workshop on data processing using Pig on 13th April in Bangalore. Sudar Muthu will mentor the workshop.
Pig workshop will teach participants the different components of Pig, how to write scripts and user defined functions (UDF) in Pig, use cases and limitations of Pig. The Pig workshop is open to participants who have some background in Java programming, familiarity with MapReduce algorithms and Hadoop, and have worked with large chunks of data.
