Hello All

I am very excited to announce that last year DataMeet managed it's first
project! Last year after conversations with several people it seemed there
is a growing demand for data projects from journalists, NGOs, and others
who don't have big budgets to deal with expensive vendors for short term
data outputs, and volunteer events like hackathons are not producing
satisfactory results.

So we partnered with Gramener to see if this is actually something we could
do. We worked with Arghyam and their ground partner on creating Water and
Sanitation report cards for the Bihar election.

While there was definitely a learning curve we feel like it was a success
and something we definitely wanted to try again and smooth out the wrinkles.

Please see the full report here:

We will be trying to do 2 of these types of projects this year. So you have
some time and want to work on one you can sign up

We haven't selected a project yet but should know in the next few months.
