Thanks Arun, We're hoping it will lead in that direction On your question about water quality, though this paper doesn't have anything about WQ, Nisha, Thej, I and a few others are working on something in that direction, a concept note for tools + visualizations that will help map WQ data better. Mainly starting with the NRDWP IMIS water quality database first. http://indiawater.gov.in/IMISReports/ It is a very granular dataset (habitation level), though the format in which its currently accessible doesn't allow us to easily understand spatial patterns or data issues/gaps
