Hi All, I'm looking to connect with someone who has some knowledge about how the Assembly Constituencies were divided between Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
What I'm trying to do is to update our Maps Repo, and get the Assembly Constituency & Lok Sabha Constituency Data to reflect the current situation for these states. There is this list [1] of 119 constituencies which I can use, but I'm confused about a small area in Khammam District. On 11 July 2014, the Lok Sabha approved a bill transferring seven mandals of Khammam district back to Andhra Pradesh [2] This area is a part of 3 Assembly Constituencies: [image: Inline image 1] (Yellow are Telangana AC, Green are Andhra Pradesh AC & Red is the Updated Telangana Boundary) What happened to these 3 Assembly constituencies? How were they divided? In Which Constituency of Andhra Pradesh was this area added? And information on this topic would be highly appreciated.
