Friends, I'm new to this group, though I know a few of the members.
I'm working on Goa, and there's a lot of data sitting in electronic databases of the Government. For example, every mining truck and barge was GPS tagged and monitored real time for the last 3 years. Some 500,000 documents have been scanned by the Mines department. Our town & country planning department has all of Goa as layers, I think in Autocad. I was wondering if there's anybody who has had success in getting data out of such databases in electronic format from the Government? Is there particular wording or even case law that we can use?
