Hi folks, Updating here after over a month. We've had a flurry of sessions, many small, some big under the Pune Open Data Portal. Got very good response, and got some institutional backing as well. IEEE Pune Section is joining in, some corporate backing can come, and lot of possibilities.
I've set up a central place where all datasets, problem statements are collecting: *https://opendatapune.github.io* (Open all links in new tabs, then you're set) And it's *open season* for anyone, anywhere to jump in and do something awesome here, in parallel while we conduct sessions. All interactions will happen through the issues section that we've called "Participate". All open source, github style. Also, we are not accepting any submissions that don't open-source the coe If you want to be published about (and possibly certificate, prizes for selected good work) for your work, please put in your full name and course details (if team, one person put for whole team) and give a way to contact you. - Nikhil VJ On Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 8:06:32 AM UTC+5:30, Nikhil VJ wrote: > > Hi Folks, > > We got in touch with the City Data Officer of Pune who heads the Pune Open > Data Portal recently (thanks Chiranjay for setting us up), and have set up > some collaborations.
