This is kind of a list minute update for folks in Delhi. World Information Architecture Day (WIAD) is a one-day annual celebration to evangelise the practice of information architecture and is held in dozens of locations across the world.
This year’s event will feature four diverse speakers— • Manish Saini is an information experience designer. He will provide a primer of information architecture to set the stage for the event. • Richa Tiwari works with Crafts Revival Trust, New Delhi. She will talk about intangible cultural heritage across South Asia and how it’s organised in an encyclopedia. • Vikramaditya Sharma is the founder of Now Form, a design studio in Gurugram. He will explore the underlying design systems that enable humanised interfaces. • Sriharsha Devulapalli works with Mint – an Indian financial daily. He will reveal Mint’s in-house process of dealing with data and visualisations. We think the talks and the conversations would be beneficial for professionals from various backgrounds and will specially resonate with those having an interest in information & interaction design, history & culture and data journalism & visualisations.
