Hello all,

The PLFS 2024 microdata was released by MoSPI a while back, but I recently
got around to cleaning and processing it to a format that should be easier
to work with. Parquet files containing the household data joined with
person data, and with codes mapped to human readable descriptions, can be
found on the GitHub repository: https://github.com/Vonter/india-plf-survey

To make it more convenient to explore and visualize the data, I've also
built a dashboard that can be found on https://india-plf-survey.pages.dev/

The dashboard is primarily intended as a way to quickly explore and
visualize the large amount of data, not as a source of truth in itself.
While I have tried to ensure that all calculations are accurate, it's
recommended to cross-check statistics by recalculating them from the source
data when possible. In case there is any mismatch between the calculated
result shown on the site, and the expected result, please do let me know so
that I can attempt to fix the site calculations.

Additionally, since the PLFS 2024 has a sample size of ~4 lakh, beyond a
certain level of filters the sample size for a subpopulation would be tiny,
and the statistics shown would not be representative of reality. For
example, only 2 Zoroastrian households (4 individuals) were surveyed in the
entire country as part of PLFS 2024, so statistics related to Zoroastrian
households would not be representative of reality.

Regards,
Vivek
