Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a recent (post-2023) geospatial dataset of India’s postal
PIN code boundaries.

Last year, Department of Posts had released a PIN code–level GeoJSON
dataset on the Open Government Data platform, and there was quite a bit of
discussion around it at the time across Twitter, LinkedIn, and the broader
open-data/GIS community.

I believe the original resource was hosted on two government-adjacent
websites, Data.gov
<https://www.data.gov.in/catalog/all-india-pincode-boundary-geo-json> and
AIKosh
<https://aikosh.indiaai.gov.in/home/datasets/details/all_india_pincode_boundary_geo_json.html>.

It now returns 404.

I’m checking whether anyone in the community may have archived or
previously downloaded the dataset, or is aware of an alternative
authoritative source for PIN code polygon boundaries in India. The most
recent resource I know of is ESRI India's 2022 pincode boundaries, which
has some invalid polygons and is anyway not openly available.

Please respond/email me if you have any leads on this. Thank you very much.

Best,
Ritwiz
