I don't use PopularityRank so your suggestions is interesting(!)

Hand-updating the values for url.pop_rank field in the database is probably not 
an option since the site contains a four-digit number of pages.

If I add the information directly to the html-pages, EG. in a meta-tag, how do 
I convince the crawler to add the value url.pop_rank to the database based upon 
the relevant meta-tags content?
