Subject: Re: Setting up Cached Mode w/SearchD
Thanks for the quick reply. I am using port 7001... and it works. I will also
be running another cacheD on port 7000 when I switch the main search sytem over
from the crc-multi storage mode to the cache mode.
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7001 0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN (my cacheD)
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7003 0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN (my searchD for crc-multi searches)
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:7004 0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN (my searchD for cacheD)
I have removed the cached parameter from the searchD that is used by the
frontend that searches the cacheD stored index data. I still do not get results.
[7322]{1000} Can't open/create file /path/to/tree/wrd04ed.i [base.c:233] -- 2
(No such file or directory)
And I still get the same errors when searchD is started.
[7341]{00} Open /path/to/url/data00ef.dat FAIL
[7341]{00} Open /path/to/url/data00f0.dat FAIL
etc...
Thanks Again!
Jon
