Thank you very much for all these details; in fact I have already used this 
option
Limit site:siteid with cached mode and this is working fine.

But I'm looking to search within one domain name from an external form so I need
to use this limitation directly in search query.

Could you please just give me an advice concerning the change from cached to 
standard search
mode; 
may I use the same database after changing to standard mode or I will have to 
reindex all
contents once more from the beginning ?
