The Can't load template: '' is actually logged to the apache error log. Anyhow, the indexer -THW command did indeed work. I didn't see that documented anywhere, so I'm glad you were there answer this! Note: the Can't load template: '' message STILL shows up in my apache log when I do a search, even though the search works. Maybe this is worth a bug submission...
