I'm looking to find a way to only display the root url... Meaning, if in the code "search.htm" I use $(URL) And that spits out: http://www.mywebpage.url/this/is/long/ I need to find a way to just get: http://www.mywebpage.url I know I can use $(URL:40) to shorten it, but that's not exactly what I need. Is there an easy built in way of doing this, or must I code up some external program? I'm using cache mode if that helps any. thanks in advance!! Appreciate all the help.
