Subject: Problems with searchd

Originally, I was trying to get cache mode setup with the cache on a separate
computer and I was told to use searchd. I cannot seem to get searchd to work
in any form. I've since gone back to using multi.

indexer.conf and search.htm have the following:
DBAddr pgsql://user:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/searchdb/?dbmode=multi

Everything works fine. I then configure searchd on the second machine using
the above DBAddr. I start searchd.

On the web search, I change search.htm with the following:
DBAddr searchd://searchdhost/

Trying to run a search gives me the following error:

Can't load template: '/usr/local/etc/dpsearch/search.htm' Invalid DBAddr:
'searchd://searchdhost/'

If I try to telnet to searchdhost, port 7003, it responds, so the searchd
daemon is running.

I upgraded to the latest version (4.45.1) just in case of bugs, but still have
the same exact problem.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
