Subject: Re: Problem with default RSS template

Many thanks for your advice Maxime
I have tested the command line as above and indeed I get perfectly RSS results
in my SSH window.
But still nothing in my browser !

I have tried to change rights for rss.htm; initially both search.cgi and
rss.htm were owned by root
but even changed to nobody for both of them doesnt change anything; the same
blank screen
with just this html code in the source: <p>&nbsp ;</p>
And this code is even not appearing in my own rss.htm ??

On the top of this since I have updated from 4.42 to the last snapshot 4 days
ago 4-46-25032007
my cached deamon is hanging regularly without any reason ??
Everything worked perfectly during 8 months without any problem and now I
cannot find the
reason of this problem after updating;
I'm using the same command line to update my database daily:

/usr/local/dpsearch/sbin/indexer -z 0 -a -b -U -W -R -H (that's only for
homepages)

Also I'm not sure but I'm running cached mode so normally I don't need to run
stored ?
as anyway DoStore is set to "no" or uncommented in all configurations.

The last element I can find in my apache logs are errors like that:

Can't load template: '/usr/local/dpsearch/etc/search.htm' too few (0) arguments
for command 'DBAddr'

Immediately after writing the above error DPS is hanging completely (browser
just waiting for response) but if I just restart searchd everything is
reworking immediately, why ??

Please try to help me to debug this weird problem.
Thanks in advance

Adam
