Hello,
a while back I reported an issue where https addresses were not getting
indexed. The other day someone at my company complained about this so
here I am again trying to make it work. I created a custom indexer.conf
with a single https address in it. Indexer does not receive any data:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sbin]# ./indexer
indexer[25595]: {00} indexer from dpsearch-4.48-mysql started with
'/usr/local/dpsearch/etc/indexer.conf'
indexer[25603]: {01} URL: https://*******/~sander/tmp/somefile.htm
indexer[25603]: {01} No data received
indexer[25603]: {01} Done (12 seconds, 1 documents, 0 bytes, 0.00
Kbytes/sec.)
indexer[25595]: {00} Total 12 seconds, 1 documents, 0 bytes, 0.00
Kbytes/sec, 12.00 sec/doc, 0 bytes/doc.
indexer[25595]: {00} Neo PopRank: 0 documents, 0 pas, 0.00 Kpas/sec,
0.00 sec/doc, 0.00 pas/doc.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sbin]#
The strange thing is that I don't even see this server request in the
logs. I use the same and different https requests from firefox and the
apache log shows the request. When I change the https to http on the url
above it also shows up in the log. In other words it seems https
requests are not really getting issued. How do I debug this further?
Thanks,
Sander
PS I'll upgrade to .49 now. I had *just* installed .48 when the email
came. When I checked an hour ago or so .48 was still the stable release :-)
