I just tried those command lines and they don't work, no matter what url I try and use it says there is not 'Server' set. here is are the lines
findyour [~/sbin]# ./indexer -qiu http://www.openx.org/ indexer[24008]: {00} indexer from dpsearch-4.49-mysql started with '/home/findyour/etc/indexer.conf' indexer[24008]: {01} URL: http://www.openx.org/ indexer[24008]: {01} No 'Server' command for url indexer[24008]: {01} Deleting http://www.openx.org/ indexer[24008]: {01} Done (0 seconds, 0 documents, 0 bytes, 0.00 Kbytes/sec.) indexer[24008]: {00} Total 1 seconds, 0 documents, 0 bytes, 0.00 Kbytes/sec, 0.00 sec/doc, 0 bytes/doc. indexer[24008]: {00} Neo PopRank: 0 documents, 0 pas, 0.00 Kpas/sec, 0.00 sec/doc, 0.00 pas/doc. Why is this so hard? Is this a search engine or is it not? --- In [email protected], "Maxim Zakharov" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > You can feed url via indexer's command line: > > ./indexer -qiu http://www.site.ext/ > > will feed one URL: http://www.site.ext/ > > ./indexer -qif /path/to/list.txt > > will feed all URLs from the list list.txt (this is a simple text file with > one URL per line). > > > > add.pl inserts url directly into "url" table (you can insert new urls safely > this way, but don't delete them that way) > > > On 2/22/08, William Drummond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > I noticed at the demo site that there was a add.pl > > page yet I do not see anything like that after > > building the program.
